Equipment:
Baking Sheet

Yield:
4- 6 servings as a side

Ingredients

  • Cooking Spray
  • 1 Head Cauliflower Washed and stemmed
  • Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper to taste
  • 1-2 Tsp spice of choice Za'taar or Curry Powder or Ancho Chile or your favorite

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Place the washed and stemmed Cauliflower head on a cutting board. Using a long vegetable knife, slice across the full head in 1/4″ slices. Try to make the thickness as even as you can but they do not have to be perfect. Uniformity helps with the slices all being done at the same time.

  2. Place the slices on a baking sheet sprayed with cooking oil. Spray the slices and season with sea salt, pepper and your spice of choice. Turn the slices over and repeat.

  3. Bake in a preheated oven for a total of 15-20 minutes turning once at 10 minutes. If desired, lightly drizzle with some olive oil for glisten over the slices after placing on your serving plate.

Variations

Not feeling like slicing today, just break up the head in bite-sized pieces, toss on the baking sheet, spray, sprinkle and go!!

Leftovers

These slices warmed and served over greens with a Balsamic Dressing – so satisfying!
